Travelling to experience and learn - potentially a cliché but we are the living dream. Parents with two adorable teenagers sailing the seven seas. As a family we have dived headlong into both culture and beautiful nature.
We stayed in a wide and diverse range of accommodations: from wooden beach huts in Indian Goa, through simple fishermen's houses in Brazilian coastal villages to exclusive boutique hotels in the Caribbean where you could spot a Hollywood celebrity.
And that’s how we discovered what makes a holiday a truly memorable experience.
Geared with a rucksack full of inspiration, new knowledge, loads of vitality and the desire to share our dreams with fellow travellers we opened our doors - Flamboyant B&B - to share with you.
Our search for the perfect location landed us in the unique setting of the Silver Coast of Portugal - a jewel in the crown. In August 2014 we traded our beloved Belgian Ghent for the country we spent our honeymoon in.
We found our new home in a century-old quinta (farm) with an authentic windmill at the edge of Serra do Bouro: a typical village near the Atlantic Ocean, by the beaches of Foz do Arelho, São Martinho do Porto, Nazaré, Peniche and Baleal.
Each and every day we put our heart and soul into Flamboyant B&B to give it its unique and playful signature and appearance.
Since May 2016 we welcome you into a relaxed, friendly atmosphere and we are happy to share our many tips to make your stay worthwhile. We are discrete and respect your privacy, but we are always there whenever you need us.
