House rules
We have drafted this guide in order to make every guest’s stay an unforgettable one. It contains not only the answers to practical questions but also several announcements required by law.
GENERAL
☆ Respect for everyone’s peace and privacy is essential in Flamboyant B&B.
☆ Between 12h and 16h we clean the rooms, therefore we ask you to not occupy them for a moment during these hours.
☆ Consuming food and beverages not offered, prepared and/or sold by us is not allowed for several reasons, not in the rooms nor on the domain.
ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE
☆ You can check in between 16h and 19h.
☆ You cannot drop you luggage off before check-in time (16h).
☆ Checkout: the morning of your departure we ask you to leave your room before 10h30 at the latest.
☆ We can safeguard your luggage and you can use the garden and the swimming pool till 13h. Please note that Flamboyant does not have of a separate, public sanitary room.
BREAKFAST
☆ Breakfast is served as a buffet:
From 8h30 on a weekday and from 9h during the weekend
At 11h at the latest the buffet is cleared.
☆ If you follow a special diet or if you are allergic to certain nutrients, inform us in time so we can make adjustments to the buffet.
ROOM PROVISIONS
☆ In the room we offer daily free mineral water, Nespresso coffee, organic tea, biscuits and fresh fruit.
☆ In the silent Smeg minibar you will find a selection of beverages and small snacks at reasonable prices. On the card you mark the consumptions and at the end of your stay you pay with cash or by bank transfer.
☆ The minibar is exclusively used for keeping products from Flamboyant B&B. We make an exception for medication, baby food or special diet nutrition.
☆ In the bathroom you will find eco-friendly bathing products, towels, toilet paper and a hairdryer.
DINING
☆ In the area there are a lot of restaurants serving different styles and for every budget. From simple diners to restaurants worthy of a Michelin star, but reasonably priced as usual in Portugal.
☆ In our restaurant guide, you will find Flamboyant’s favourite restaurants and information about dining out in Portugal.
LINEN
☆ Depending on the duration of your stay and with respect for the environment, linen will be replaced after 5 nights at the latest.
☆ As for the towels, we ask you to do as you would at home. If you want fresh towels, put the dirty ones in the basket in the bathroom.
☆ Behind the rooms, on the south side, you will find a drying rack for your wet towels and swim gear.
SWIMMING POOL
☆ The swimming pool at Flamboyant B&B is a salt-water pool (no seawater). For hygienic purposes we ask you to shower before you go swimming.
☆ Use of the towels by the pool is free of charge. Please do not take them to the beach.
☆ There are no specific hours for the use of the swimming pool. We clean it during breakfast hours.
☆ As from 23h it is no longer illuminated.
☆ Other than the entry steps, the swimming pool is 1.40 m deep over the entire length. It is not suitable for diving.
☆ There is no supervision at the swimming pool. Use of the pool is entirely at your own risk. Children younger than 12 years or children who cannot swim are not allowed at and in the pool without the guidance of their parents. Potential accidents and wounds are excluded from damages claims.
☆ In Flamboyant B&B we do not like big plastic inflatables in the swimming pool. If you brought any, feel free to use them. Make sure however to take them back to your room afterwards.
BEACH ITEMS
☆ We rent beach towels for € 5 per towel per wash. Parasols, windbreakers and beach toys can be taken to the beach free of charge.
☆ You can rinse you wetsuit at the water-tank on the parking lot.
SMOKING
☆ The rooms in Flamboyant B&B are strictly smoke free. It is allowed to smoke outside, provided that you do not disturb the other guests and use the ashtray.
☆ Burning candles or incense and making fire is not allowed because of the fire safety.
PETS
☆ Pets are not allowed. We do not own any either.
☆ Guide dogs with an official certificate are welcomed.
DAMAGE
☆ Please be careful with all articles. If you break anything by accident, report it to us immediately.
☆ Depending on the situation and the item we ask for either a voluntary contribution or a complete/partial reimbursement.
